Best Free Screensavers Windows 7
Well guys, for the people that missed the old Windows 98 Plus! themes, I got these from my old Windows 98 and tried it on Windows 7. Extremely surpising that it worked. Extract the .zip folder and I've learned that you must keep the Plus! folder on the desktop for it to run properly. Otherwise, runs perfectly. Curently running the Nature theme

Sucks it all works but the icons and wallpapers. You gotta do that part manually if you really wanna.
Theres alot of themes missing, like Jazz, Cathy, Garfield and Fashion. I have looked all over the internet but no luck finding them
It did work, but no longer worked later. I think windows update patched it. It just always crashes now.
I'm using Windows 7 64 bit and tried to apply the Windows Classic theme. But all it seemed to do was change my desktop wallpaper. The windows, taskbar, icons, ect all remain unchanged. And the wallpaper eventually cycles back to normal after a few minutes. Not sure what went wrong.
Well it doesn't work well in Win7 Pro 64-bit Spanish, updated patches: wallpapers won't be set, and in themes it clearly shows a black screen and when I apply the theme the black screen will be the desktop background, fonts won't be applied, cursors and sounds and font sizes will be applied, any suggestions?
I ran the themes.exe from a non-desktop location, them I copied the Plus! folder to the desktop and nothing changed, some things are missing somehow, but thanks anyway, I'll update this post if I find something on The Net.

Just letting you know, this also works for Windows 10. Great job! I switched over to the 'Underwater' theme and immediately had an eargasm, lol.
I re-built those themes and other windows 98 themes so they work on windows 7. I've converted and built from scratch over 250 themepacks

Hello, , Sorry for your dad. This happened to me too, but with a Windows 7 computer. I once turned it on, and to look at it, I felt that the hard drive could have failed to start, I was wrong. My hard drive died. I had to get a new one off Amazon, that cost over $100 bucks.

It's because it's an archive and it is so small, which is common for fake, malicious programs. You can check the .reg inside yourself for what keys it modifies. That's all that's in there, a .reg inside a zip. Hence the filesize.
Oh man, this is the best ever. This one little feature made be so stupidly happy back in the day. If you don't mind me asking, what about the other themes? I remember there being a bunch more, like Science Fiction & Cathy & such. Will you upload those, too?
You could also try these. I modified them to work on windows 7.

Absolutely no warning was listed, and I had no idea this program would actually overwrite system-essential registry keys. Luckily for all of you I have backed up the keys for you and zipped them. They are not system-unique and work on Windows 7 and up. Works on 8 and 8.1 (I have tried it on all 3 systems).
If you installed this and decided you didn't want to use it anymore only to realize your fonts and window borders are unable to be reverted, install both of these registry keys and it will revert them. These are the default WindowMetrics and 'Fonts' keys from Windows 7. I repeat, these do work on 8 and 8.1 as well, they are no different.

I get the message 'Not enough memory to display other themes' when I launch Themes.exe I can't select a theme from the drop down menu. My only choices from the themes drop down menu are 'Current Windows settings' and 'Other...' I have 2GB of RAM installed with Dual Intel 1.6ghz processors.
