I have a problem getting my Realtek Fast Ethernet Controller RTL8139 working under Windows 7. When I first installed windows the controller was visible in the device manager I believe to remember, but after the first reboot it disappeared.
I have two ethernet controllers active in my system, first the one mentioned above and second: Realtek RTL8168C(P)/8111C(P) Family PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.20) [onboard].
The controller that is not found is definitely working, since the LEDs are switched on when I connect the card to a cable. The other computer that is connected to my PC even displays that a 100Mbit connection was established (with problems though). It is not possible though to communicate.
I already tried to install the newest drivers from the Realtek page for Win7 (dated 22.09.2009) but it didn't help.
